These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Primeversity platform (primeversity.com), including all services, courses, and features we offer. By creating an account, browsing courses, or using any part of Primeversity, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully. If you don’t agree with these Terms, you may not use Primeversity.
1. About Primeversity

What we do:
We connect expert instructors from around the world with learners seeking practical skills in business, entrepreneurship, leadership, AI tools, productivity software, and other technologies that support modern business.
Our role:
Primeversity is a platform provider. We host courses created by independent instructors. Instructors are responsible for their course content, and we review courses to ensure quality and relevance before publication.
2. Who Can Use Primeversity
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase courses, or teach on Primeversity.
If you are under 18, you may use Primeversity with parental or guardian consent and supervision.
Account Eligibility
To use Primeversity, you must:
- Provide accurate, complete information when creating your account
- Maintain the security of your account and password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Not use another person’s account without permission
- Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse the platform
Prohibited Users
You may not use Primeversity if:
- You have previously been banned from the platform
- You are located in a country where our services are prohibited by law
- You intend to use the platform for illegal activities
3. User Accounts
Creating an Account
To purchase courses or become an instructor, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Keep your password secure
- Notify us of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@primeversity.com.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You abuse refund policies
- You upload prohibited content
- You harass other users or instructors
- We determine your activity harms the platform or community
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@primeversity.com.
4. For Learners: Purchasing and Using Courses
Course Purchases
When you purchase a course:
- You pay the price listed at the time of purchase
- Payment is processed immediately through our secure payment providers (Stripe, PayPal)
- You receive 12 months access to the course content (unless otherwise stated)
- You receive a personal, non-transferable license to view the course
- You do NOT receive ownership or redistribution rights
What You Can Do
You may:
- Watch course videos as many times as you wish
- Download materials provided by the instructor (if downloadable)
- Complete quizzes and activities
- Ask questions in course Q&A sections
- Earn completion certificates
- Access course updates made by the instructor
What You Cannot Do
You may NOT:
- Share your account or login credentials with others
- Download or copy course content for redistribution
- Sell, rent, or sublicense access to courses
- Use course content for commercial purposes without permission
- Create derivative works from course materials
- Remove copyright notices or watermarks
- Share courses on file-sharing or piracy sites
Violation of these restrictions may result in account termination and legal action.
Course Quality and Instructor Responsibility
Courses are created by independent instructors. While we review courses before publication, instructors are responsible for the accuracy and quality of their content.

Refunds
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee under certain conditions. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.

- Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase
- You must have consumed less than 30% of the course
- Technical issues caused by the platform are always refundable
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
5. For Instructors: Teaching on Primeversity
Becoming an Instructor
To teach on Primeversity:
- Apply via the “Become an Instructor” page
- Your application will be reviewed by our team
- If approved, you’ll receive platform access
- You can upload courses (saved as drafts)
- Each course is reviewed before publication
Instructors are independent contractors, not employees of Primeversity.
Instructor Responsibilities
As an instructor, you agree to:
- Upload only original content or content you have legal rights to use
- Provide accurate course descriptions and learning outcomes
- Deliver high-quality, well-organized educational content
- Respond to student questions in a reasonable timeframe
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not upload prohibited content (see Section 7)
Revenue Share
Instructors earn 90% of course sales.
Primeversity earns 10% of course sales.
This split applies to all course purchases. Payment processing fees are deducted before the revenue split is calculated.
Example:
- Student purchases course for £100
- Payment processing fee: £2.90
- Net revenue: £97.10
- Instructor receives: £87.39 (90%)
- Primeversity receives: £9.71 (10%)
Payments to Instructors
- Payments are calculated weekly
- You must earn at least £10 to receive payment (earnings below this roll over)
- Payments are made within 7 days after the end of each month
- You must provide accurate payment details (bank account or PayPal)
- You are responsible for all taxes on your earnings
Course Approval Process
All courses require admin approval before publication.
We review courses for:
- Relevance to business and technology topics
- Quality of content and presentation
- Accuracy of information
- Compliance with platform policies
We reserve the right to:
- Reject courses that don’t meet standards
- Request revisions before approval
- Remove published courses that no longer meet standards (with notice)
Instructor Agreements
All instructors must sign an Instructor Independent Contractor Agreement. This agreement outlines intellectual property rights, content standards, payment terms, and termination conditions.

6. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
Instructor Content
Instructors retain full ownership and copyright of their course content. By uploading content to Primeversity, instructors grant us a non-exclusive license to:
- Host and display courses on the platform
- Stream content to enrolled students
- Use course titles, descriptions, and previews for marketing
- Make technical copies necessary for platform operation
This license ends when the course is removed from the platform, except for students who already purchased the course (they retain access).
Platform Content
All Primeversity branding, design, features, and proprietary technology are owned by Primeversity Ltd. You may not:
- Copy or replicate our platform design
- Use our branding without permission
- Reverse-engineer our technology
Student-Generated Content
If you post reviews, comments, or questions on Primeversity, you grant us permission to display and use this content on the platform and in marketing materials.
Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on Primeversity infringes your copyright, contact us immediately at support@primeversity.com with:
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Location of the infringing content (URL)
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly.
7. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Prohibited Content
You may NOT upload or share:
- Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate material
- Misleading, false, or fraudulent information
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Content that violates privacy or data protection laws
- Spam or unsolicited advertising
Prohibited Conduct
You may NOT:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or instructors
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the platform
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Engage in fraudulent activity or payment abuse
- Circumvent platform fees or payment systems
Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
8. Payments and Pricing
Payment Methods
We accept:
- Credit and debit cards (via Stripe)
- PayPal
- Other payment methods as we add them
All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your full payment details.
Pricing
- Course prices are set by instructors
- Prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and may be shown in other currencies for convenience
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable
- Promotional discounts may be available from time to time
Payment Processing Fees
Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) charge fees for transactions. These fees are deducted from course sales before the revenue split is calculated.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You will not receive access to the course
- You may retry payment or use a different payment method
- We are not responsible for failed transactions caused by your payment provider
9. Refunds and Cancellations

10. Platform Availability and Changes
Service Availability

- Technical issues
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)
We are not liable for any losses resulting from platform downtime.
Platform Updates
We may:
- Update platform features and design
- Add or remove functionality
- Change course organization and display
- Modify these Terms (with notice)
We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection laws.

13. Live Classes and Private Groups (Optional Features)
Live Classes
Instructors may optionally host live classes using Google Meet or Google Classroom integration. For live classes:
- Instructors are responsible for scheduling and hosting sessions
- Primeversity is not responsible for third-party platform (Google) availability
- Sessions may be recorded and added to courses (with notice to participants)
- The same Terms apply to live class content
Private Groups
Instructors may create private groups or offer private instruction. These features:
- Follow the same 90/10 revenue split
- Must be processed through the Primeversity platform
- Are subject to the same content and conduct policies
14. Third-Party Services
Primeversity integrates with third-party services including:
- Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal
- Video hosting: Youtube and other platforms
- Analytics: Google Analytics
- Communication tools: Google Meet, Google Classroom
These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions or availability.
15. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Course Content Disclaimer
Primeversity does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of course content. Courses are created by independent instructors, and we are not responsible for:
- Accuracy of information taught
- Quality or effectiveness of teaching methods
- Results or outcomes from taking courses
- Instructor availability or responsiveness
You use courses at your own risk.
Platform Disclaimer
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free access
- That the platform will meet your specific needs
- That security measures will prevent all breaches
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primeversity Ltd, its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Course content accuracy or effectiveness
- Actions of instructors or other users
- Third-party service failures
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for courses in the 12 months prior to the claim.
UK Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer protection laws. If you are a UK consumer, you have the right to:
- Cancel within 14 days of purchase (with conditions)
- Receive a refund if the service is faulty
- Seek remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Primeversity Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the platform
- Content you upload (for instructors)
- Your violation of others’ rights
17. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
Informal Resolution
Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact us at support@primeversity.com to resolve disputes informally.
Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to arbitration before pursuing court action.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes:
- We’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top
- We’ll notify you via email or platform notification
- Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the new Terms
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
19. Termination
Your Right to Terminate
You may stop using Primeversity and close your account at any time by contacting support@primeversity.com.
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- We determine termination is necessary to protect the platform or community
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- You lose access to your account and purchased courses
- Instructors lose the ability to sell new courses
- Outstanding payments to instructors will be processed according to normal schedule
- These Terms continue to apply to past use of the platform
20. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Primeversity.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a business sale or merger.
No Partnership
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Primeversity.
