Frequently
Asked Questions
Whether you are stuck on a course, sorting out a payment, or thinking about teaching here, we would like to hear from you. Most answers are faster through the links below than the form.
What if my business is both service and product?
Most are, eventually. Pick the path that matches where the money comes from today. A consultant selling a course on the side is still a service business.
Can I switch paths later?
Yes. The stages are bought separately, so nothing locks you in. If you switch, email us and we will work out the difference rather than charging you twice.
What if I am between two stages?
Take the earlier one. The overlap is short and the foundations are cheap to revisit. Starting too high is the expensive mistake.
Do I need business experience to start?
No. Stage 1 assumes you have an idea and nothing else. If you already have paying customers, start at stage 2 instead.
How long does a stage take?
Most people finish in 3 to 6 weeks working a few hours a week. There is no deadline, so it takes as long as it takes.
Is this only for businesses in United Kingdom?
No. Primeversity is designed for entrepreneurs and business owners anywhere in the world. Most of our learning materials cover general business principles, strategies, tools, and practical resources that can be applied across different countries.
Where a course or resource contains information that is specific to a particular country or region, such as tax, business registration, legal requirements, or funding opportunities, this will be clearly stated within the course or resource.
How it works
What actually is Primeversity?
Primeversity is a structured business learning platform that gives you the right learning for the stage your business is in.
Instead of navigating through unrelated courses, you choose your business pathway and current stage, then access targeted courses designed to address the knowledge, skills, and challenges you need to focus on at that point in your business journey.
Why stages instead of just letting me pick courses?
Because most people buy the wrong thing first. Learning to hire before you have revenue, or to run ads before you have an offer, wastes money. The stages put things in a working order.
What is the difference between the two paths?
Service based is for people selling their skills: coaches, consultants, freelancers, agencies and creatives. Product based is for people selling physical or digital products. The problems are different enough to need different material.
Do I have to start at stage 1?
No. Start where your business actually is. If you already have paying customers, stage 1 will feel like ground you have covered.
Is there a live element, or is it all recorded?
Courses are recorded so you can work at your own pace. The live element sits in the Business Hub, where the workshops and webinars run.
Courses and learning
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, once you complete the assessments in a stage. It is downloadable and shareable, and it names the stage and the instructors.
Can I ask questions while I am learning?
Yes. Every lesson has a discussion thread and the instructor who taught it answers there. It is not a general support desk.
Payments
What does it cost?
Pricing is per stage and shown on each stage page. Buying the stage costs less than buying its courses one at a time.
What currency am I charged in?
For now, Primeversity prices are set in pounds sterling (£). If you are paying from another currency, your bank or payment provider will convert the amount at its applicable exchange rate.
Can I pay in instalments?
Not currently. Each stage is a single payment.
What if I buy the wrong stage?
If you purchase the wrong stage, contact us and we’ll help you find the best way forward.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Primeversity offers a refund window of 14 days, subject to the conditions in our Refund Policy.
Business Hub
What is in the Business Hub?
The Business Hub is a collection of practical business resources and opportunities, including templates, free workshops and webinars, business events, grants and funding opportunities, useful articles, and recommended business tools.
Is it included, or does it cost extra?
Included from the day you buy a stage. There is no separate Hub subscription.
Do I need to be a student to access it?
No. Business Hub resources are open to everyone unless otherwise stated.
How often is it updated?
The Business Hub is regularly updated with new resources, events, funding opportunities, and other useful business opportunities as they become available. Events and funding opportunities may be added more frequently when new opportunities arise.
Are the funding opportunities specific to one country?
Grants and funding listings focus on the regions specified in the listing. The templates, workshops, and tools apply anywhere.
